Our Story
Founded in 2007, McHaffie Building has grown from a single van to a trusted, full-scale building company delivering custom new builds and transformative renovations. With bases in Gore and Wanaka, we proudly serve clients across Southland and South Otago.
Co-directors Paul McHaffie and Steve Gibson bring complementary strengths to the business. Paul oversees project management and client relationships, guiding homeowners through each stage with clarity and confidence. On site, Steve leads our team of skilled builders and apprentices, ensuring precision, efficiency, and craftsmanship in every detail.
